The infamous Judge Roy Bean was known as “the Law West of the Pecos.” His “Opera House” residence and the “Jersey Lilly” saloon/courthouse are open to visitors at the original site in Langtry, where the visitor center offers historical exhibits and Texas travel information, and a native cactus garden features walking trails and a historic windmill.
